Taco Meat


If you don't like the taste of prepackaged taco seasoning...
give this recipe a try! 


Not only is this meat great for tacos, you can also use it for burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, nachos, or on top of a salad! I usually make this when I’m craving a nice healthy version of taco salad! Most of the ingredients are "to taste" so that you can make it as spicy and as salty as you like!

You'll Need -

1 Pound Ground Beef or Turkey
1 Small Onion Chopped
¾ Cup Salsa
1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
1 Teaspoon Cumin
Crushed Red Pepper (to taste)
Chopped Jalapeño Pepper (to taste)
Hot Sauce (to taste)
Salt & Pepper (to taste)


First start by adding the chopped onion to a sauté pan and cook with a little bit of water until the onions start to get tender. Next add in the ground beef or turkey and cook until brown. Drain any liquid from the mixture. Next add in the salsa, garlic, cumin and jalapeños and heat through. Season with additional hot sauce and spices and enjoy!
